What The Best Tapa is
The Best Tapa is a ranking of tapas across Spain built from the votes of the people eating them. There are no critics and no house scores: every tapa on the site was uploaded by someone who was at the bar, and every vote comes from someone who was there.
How the ranking works
Anyone can upload a tapa with a photo and the venue where they tried it. Once published, it enters the ranking for its city and for Spain. Votes are counted live and the monthly ranking resets each month, so a new tapa can overtake an established one without waiting a year.
Who runs it
The Best Tapa is an independent project with no sponsorship from bars or brands. Venues do not pay to appear and a position cannot be bought. To get in touch, write to support@thebesttapa.com.
