Montado de Ibérico (Montado de Ibérico)

- Ibérico
- A native Iberian breed of pig, free-ranged on Spain’s dehesa pastureland, where it feeds on grass and on the forest’s fruits (acorns and chestnuts). That diet and the exercise produce heavily marbled, deeply flavoured meat, the basis of Iberian ham, cured sausages and tapas such as secreto and presa.
- Montado
- A tapa served on a small slice of bread, essentially the same idea as a montadito. The name comes from the topping sitting on top of the bread.
